Sometimes it’s easy to forget that I live in London, especially when the city feels like it’s actually lots of tiny little villages spread throughout the capital. With travel times, crowded public transport and everything you could ever need within a 20 minute radius, it’s all too easy to stay in your own little bubble. But that’s just a little boring, and quite embarrassing. I live in one of the best cities in the world, and after a return trip to Camden last week, I realised that I am seriously missing out on so much that this city has to offer.
If you fancy a break from your local, then pop over to Camden. Make sure that you visit the market for mac n’ cheese at The Mac Factory, and treat yourself to an ice cream sandwich from Cookies and Scream. If you’re in the mood for something a little healthier then definitely make a visit to Mildreds for some seriously delicious vegetarian food and cocktails. And then once you’ve eaten your way to better (or worse) health, you can walk it off by exploring the market and walking down to the canal for some spectacular people watching.
What do you think of Camden, and are there any other areas that I should try out this weekend?
